To connect clippings.me to GoDaddy, you can either grant us account access to do it for you (recommended), or set it up yourself.
1) Grant account access
Visit https://sg.godaddy.com/help/give-others-godaddy-account-access-12376 to learn how to allow others access to your domain. account. Then, grant email@example.com access to your account.
2) Do it yourself
In order to forward your domain, you'll need to set up a CNAME redirect which sends the 'www' of your new domain to youruserid.clippings.me.
You can access these settings in the 'Zone File Editor' in the domains section of your Godaddy account. To find that and make the change, you can follow the 'Editing CNAME Records' instructions here: https://www.godaddy.com/help/edit-a-cname-record-19237
Following those instructions, your host will be 'www' and the place you'll need to point to is youruserid.clippings.me. So, if your clippings.me address is www.clippings.me/nicholasholmes, enter 'nicholasholmes.clippings.me'). Click save.
After you've done that, you can log into clippings.me, select 'Domains' from the menu at the top right, and enter your domain name (i.e. www.yourname.com) in there. With the CNAME correctly added to GoDaddy, the system should allow you to save the new domain and your new address will be working.
